We undertake a wide variety of commissions from a number of commercial and private sectors and as well as having provided a range of photographic products for private clients we have had work published in both print and web based media. We pride ourselves on a personal and highly professional service and work closely with clients to ensure full satisfaction. As well as specialising in a wide variety of photography we also run a number of photographic courses and offer one to one tuition which can be tailored to specific skill sets and requirements.
After studying photography Emma Migden assisted a number of professional photographers and was promoted to photographic printer and darkroom manager. After a later stint as head photographer at a successful commercial studio Emma decided to branch out on her own and began working as a freelance photographer in 1995. Since then she has created an excellent reputation for her work and now specialises in wedding photography, dance and theatre photography, commercial photography and creative portraiture.
After gaining a degree in Television and Video Production from Bournemouth University, John Migden pursued his passion for stills photography and began a career as a freelance photographer in 1999.
He spent the next few years traveling and has visited countries on four continents where he has photographed a wide variety of subjects. During this time he also worked as a technical and sales advisor in a professional photographic department as well as beginning a career in teaching. In addition to working for White Light Photography, John now dedicates most of his time to producing documentary photography projects. His work has been published and exhibited in a variety of media and as well as producing photographs he also writes about photography and runs lectures and workshops.
In an attempt to understand as much as possible about the motives, philosophy and human connection with photography he enrolled and completed a PG Foundation Course in Existential Psychotherapy and is on course to begin his PG studies in Photography in September.
